Mother’s Day celebration

On May 18th Gimsaber celebrated Mother’s Day. It was a very special and beautiful event because many mothers attended and enjoyed themselves as they saw the show their children had prepared for them. The show started with prayer and gospel music, followed by a serenade by students which included songs like Total Eclipse of the Heart, I will always Love You, This is Ain’t a Love Song, My heart will Go on, and The Climb. The students also presented a play based on the tale Hansel and Gretel and danced Rock ‘n’ Roll to remind mothers of their golden years. The event closed with the gift of a rose to every mother given by her own child(ren). It was a very emotional moment.<br />In conclusion this remarkable date reminded us of the treasure a mother is, although a few cherish them. Right from childhood, our mothers nurtured us and made us what we are. Through good and bad times, our mothers are the people we can count on to hold our hands and lead us away from trouble.God bless all the Gimsaber Mothers.
